Activated Carbon filter

ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER uses hi-grade granular carbon columns and uses Adsorption Technology to remove the organic contaminants from the raw water. When the raw water passes through the carbon columns, the contaminants present in the water are adsorbed on to the surface of the carbon granules.

The media design also facilitates easy backwash and rinse resulting in longer life of the carbon granules. The backwash and rinse operations need to be performed at frequent intervals as specified by our technical department for effective removal of adsorbed contaminants. 

Objectionable colour, odour, residual chlorine and volatile organic compounds are eliminated from the water when it passes (down flow) through the carbon column. The water which comes out of the ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER will have better clarity and freshness.
